Show Extravaganza!

Best in Show was awarded to Lisa Wheatcroft for her stunning 'Flowers from my Garden' arrangement.

Considering we had at one point in early August though about cancelling this year's show, we were delighted on Saturday to have a hall packed full of high quality exhibits. Months of no rain and a hose pipe ban in early August did nothing to deter people's enthusiasm for exhibiting what they had managed to grow this summer. Truly a cause for celebration as we welcomed 40 exhibitors (including even more first time exhibitors) with their nearly 300 entries. Our show judges were well and truly impressed with both the quality and quantity of entries.

Thank you to all our judges, our exhibitors and visitors that joined us for refreshments and the awards ceremony in the afternoon. We so value the support from the community! We would also like to thank the whole team involved in setup, baking cakes and serving tea and for cleaning up at the end. Extraordinary team effort!
